About This Listing Policy
This Listing Policy sets out the rules, requirements, and responsibilities for anyone who submits a property listing to Cevew Property. Our platform allows property owners, landlords, property agents, and other authorized users to publish listings for residential and commercial properties available for rent and sale across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
By submitting a listing to Cevew Property, you agree to comply with this Listing Policy, our Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all other applicable policies. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not submit a listing.
The purpose of this policy is to maintain the quality, accuracy, and trustworthiness of listings on our platform so that property seekers can browse listings with confidence and property owners can advertise effectively.
Who Can Submit a Property
You may submit a property listing to Cevew Property only if you meet at least one of the following conditions:
- You are the legal owner of the property and have the right to advertise it.
- You are a landlord with the authority to rent out the property.
- You are a licensed or authorized property agent who has been formally engaged by the property owner to advertise the property.
- You are an authorized representative with written permission from the property owner to list the property.
You must not submit a property listing if you do not own the property or do not have explicit authorization from the owner to advertise it. Submitting a listing without proper authority is a violation of this policy and may result in the removal of the listing and the suspension of your account.
Required Listing Information
When submitting a property listing, you must provide accurate and complete information in all required fields. The following information is typically required:
- Property Title — A clear and descriptive heading for the listing (e.g., "3-Bedroom House for Rent in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad").
- Property Type — The type of property, such as house, apartment, flat, plot, commercial shop, or office space.
- Location — The specific area, sector, phase, or neighbourhood in Islamabad or Rawalpindi where the property is located.
- Price — The rent or sale price of the property, stated clearly and accurately.
- Property Size — The area of the property, typically in marla, kanal, or square feet.
- Bedrooms — The number of bedrooms in the property (if applicable).

- Accurate Photographs — Genuine images that accurately represent the actual property.
Providing incomplete or inaccurate information may result in your listing being rejected, edited, or removed. We encourage you to provide as much detail as possible to help property seekers make informed decisions.
Accurate Property Information
All information you provide in a property listing must be accurate, honest, and not misleading. The following practices are strictly prohibited:
- Fake Prices — Do not list a price that is intentionally false, significantly different from the actual asking price, or intended to deceive users.
- Misleading Descriptions — Do not describe the property in a way that does not match its actual condition, features, or size.
- Fake Availability — Do not list a property as available if it is not actually available for rent or sale.
- False Property Sizes — Do not exaggerate or misrepresent the size, area, or dimensions of the property.
- False Amenities — Do not list amenities or features that the property does not actually have.
- Misleading Locations — Do not list the property under a location that is inaccurate or intended to deceive (e.g., claiming a property in DHA when it is in a different area).
Property Photos
Photographs submitted as part of a property listing must accurately represent the actual property being advertised. The following rules apply to property photos:
- Photos must be genuine images of the actual property.
- Photos should be current and reasonably reflect the property's present condition.
- Photos must not be stolen, copied, or used without permission from the copyright holder.
- Photos must not be misleading, edited to hide defects, or taken from angles intended to deceive.
- Photos must not include watermarks, logos, or other branding that is not authorized by you.
- Photos must not be unrelated to the property (e.g., using images of a different property).
Cevew Property reserves the right to remove any photograph that we believe violates this policy or is otherwise inappropriate for our platform. Repeated violations may result in listing removal or account suspension.
Duplicate Listings
To maintain the quality and usability of our platform, unnecessary duplicate listings are not permitted. A duplicate listing is one that advertises the same property multiple times without a legitimate reason.
The following practices are prohibited:
- Submitting the same property multiple times under the same or different titles.
- Using multiple accounts to list the same property.
- Creating duplicate listings to manipulate search results or visibility.
- Flooding the platform with identical or near-identical listings.
If you have multiple similar properties (such as multiple units in the same building or multiple plots in the same development), each listing must clearly distinguish the specific property and provide unique information relevant to that particular unit.
Cevew Property reserves the right to merge, edit, or remove duplicate listings at our discretion.
Sold/Rented Properties
If a property listed on Cevew Property is no longer available because it has been sold, rented, leased, or otherwise withdrawn from the market, the listing owner or agent is responsible for taking prompt action.
You should:
- Update the listing to reflect its current availability status.
- Remove the listing if the property is no longer available.
- Mark the listing as "Sold" or "Rented" if such an option is available.
Outdated listings create a poor experience for property seekers and reduce the credibility of the platform. Cevew Property may remove or mark listings as unavailable if we believe they are no longer active or if they have not been updated for an extended period.
Prohibited Listings
The following types of listings and content are strictly prohibited on Cevew Property:
- Fraudulent Properties — Listings for properties that do not exist or are not actually for rent or sale.
- Fake Ownership Claims — Listings submitted by individuals who do not own the property and have no authority to advertise it.
- Scam Listings — Listings designed to defraud, deceive, or obtain money or personal information from users unlawfully.
- Misleading Advertisements — Listings that contain false, exaggerated, or deceptive claims about the property.
- Stolen Content — Listings that use photographs, descriptions, or other content copied from other sources without permission.
- Offensive Content — Listings that contain offensive, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate material.
- Spam — Listings that are repetitive, irrelevant, or intended to spam or manipulate the platform.
- Listings Designed to Deceive Users — Any listing that is intentionally designed to mislead, trick, or exploit users.
- Illegal Activities — Listings that involve or promote any illegal activity, including illegal property transactions.
Cevew Property reserves the right to remove any listing that violates this policy, and to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly submit prohibited content. We may also report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities where required by law.

Listing Expiration/Updates
Property listings on Cevew Property may be subject to expiration or may require periodic updates. The specific expiry period for a listing may vary depending on the listing type, subscription plan (if applicable), or other factors.
Outdated listings may be removed or marked as unavailable if they have not been updated or confirmed within a reasonable period. This helps ensure that property seekers are not viewing stale or inaccurate information.
Listing owners and agents are responsible for:
- Keeping their listing information up-to-date.
- Confirming that the property is still available.
- Updating prices, availability, and other details when they change.
- Renewing or re-listing properties as needed.
- Removing listings that are no longer relevant.
Cevew Property may send reminders to listing owners or agents to update or confirm their listings. Failure to update or confirm a listing may result in its removal or deactivation.
